H) Resolution and Signature

RECONNAIT que la mission de Bee City Canada est la promotion d’habitats sains et diversifiés en faveur des pollinisateurs dans toutes les communautés au Canada;

QUE les abeilles et autres pollinisateurs à travers le monde sont victimes d’un déclin inquiétant lié au morcellement des terres, à la perte d’habitats, aux pesticides, à l’industrialisation de l’agriculture, aux changements climatiques et à la prolifération de parasites et de maladies, et que cela menace l’équilibre de la flore et de la faune de la planète;

QUE colleges and universities have the opportunity to take actions to support pollinators by creating healthy habitats within their grounds and the broader community; and

QUE supporting pollinators fosters environmental awareness, increases interactions and engagement among campus community members and reminds us of our responsibility to take care of mother earth for future generation; and

QUE staff be authorized to submit the Bee City Canada Campus Application to designate (college/university) as a Bee City Campus; and

QU’IL EST RESOLU EN CONSEQUENCE

QUE your campus accepts the designation and commits to the standards of the Bee City Canada Program.
