Revelstoke

At the confluence of the Columbia and Illecillewaet Rivers, nestled between the Monashee and Selkirk Mountains, and neighbouring two National Mountain Parks, Revelstoke is a community deeply seated in nature. Bees and other pollinators are key to the natural magic of this place.
Through the collaboration of non-profit societies and the municipal government we strive to protect our natural spaces and educate both residents and visitors of how they can protect and enhance our important pollinators. Becoming a Bee City allows us to formalize our commitment to the environment and celebrate our efforts.

This was the presentation of recognition of Revelstoke as a Bee City with our Mayor. Note the VERY cute bee outfit on our littlest supporter!
