One of Canada’s largest municipalities becomes our 29th Bee City!

The City of Mississauga is excited to join the growing list of Bee Cities! City initiatives to enhance habitat for pollinators include pollinator gardens, incorporating native plants in park gardens, as well as educational campaigns and events to educate residents on how they can support pollinators at home, work and school.

The City of Mississauga is working on restoring and enhancing its natural areas through the One Million Trees program, where thousands of native flowering trees and shrubs are planted each year with the help of over 5000 volunteers.
