École St. Pius X
Children are naturally curious about bees and naturally curious about the world around them. Becoming a Bee City School is important to St. Pius X as we are a Catholic Community of Caring. Together, we strive to make every effort to create an atmosphere that fosters respect and encourages student participation. As a school, we have the opportunity to provide students with hands-on learning around bees and their importance to the local ecosystem. Through participating in interactive learning it is our goal to foster in our students a love of bees and an appreciation of their important role in environmental stewardship. Our wildflower garden will give students a visual reminder of their support for bees on a daily basis. As a Bee City School, we will be taking the initiative for leadership to make a change in our community and our environment to aide in the protection of pollinators.
