Drummond Central School

We are already considered “the place to Bee” as that is our school motto and the bee is our school mascot. Drummond Central has a strong commitment to outdoor education and experiential learning. We tap maple trees in early spring, plant a vegetable and pollinator garden in the late spring and harvest vegetables in the fall. Becoming a “Bee City School” would only serve to further enhance our existing initiatives.

It is important for Drummond Central School to become a Bee City School as we feel it deeply connects to our commitment to nature and to experiential learning. Doing our part to help preserve and protect our native pollinators has always been something we have had a keen interesting in doing–it is part of our responsibility as members of the Drummond community which has always had a rich tradition of building community relationships and celebrating student success.
