YS Florals and Farm

My name is Carolyn Young, my daughter Erica and I are flower farmers in Caledon Ontario and are passionate about saving the bees. We have a beautiful garden were we grow mostly flowers for retail and wholesale and also teach courses on flower arranging and we also have a small gift shop were we sell macrame and also Bee products like honey and bees wax candles.

We are committed to helping the bee population by planting so many flowers that the bees can enjoy and also using products that are bee friendly and going organic whenever possible. We have been looking for a bee charity to support and think that Bee City is such as great organization, and we would love to be a partner and contribute to its further success. We have some exciting commitments that we made in our application and looking at other ways we can help including harvesting seeds to give to customers like bee balm, which make sure a gorgeous plant that the bees love and help people plant bee friendly plants all over our area.

We have included some pictures that we love and always get comments when we post them on Instagram where the bees have fallen asleep in our flowers. It is so exciting to see.

We are dedicated to helping spread the word about how important bees are and also to learn more ourselves about how important bees are to our world we live in.  We are excited to find out more about what we can do to help Bee City Canada be successful.
